Hurricanes plus DEW. Any connection?

I just watched Eric Hecker's interview on the Jimmy Dore show. Eric mentioned that there was a hurricane in the offing during events on 9/11/2001. And I saw pictures of oddly burned automobiles near the WTC, which made me wonder about directed energy weapons.

And as it happens there was a hurricane in the offing during the Lahina fires too, also with funnily burnt cars. Coincidence?

So I am wondering, would it be possible to take a small fraction of the massive energy of a hurricane, convert it and redirect it to do something like, say, strategically melt a few car wheels? Or light a few things on fire? Or whatever? Just wondering.
