Navigator with a suspiciously low price tag, what's the catch I'm missing?

Is it even worth the hassle for a car that's technically still a Ford underneath or should I just stick to the Japanese brands that everyone and their mother recommends out here because parts are everywhere and the AC actually works when it's 48 degrees?
